Mrs Follas, a local community figure in the late 1950's, was known for her music lessons. Such lessons, were taught within her home built by Homer Woodcraft and the wagon wheels adorning Mrs Follas' front yard, came from her Father's wagon which travelled 'over the hill' from Whakatane to Ohope and Opotiki. Today, some 60 years on, his wagon wheels still greet you. Moulded scotias, curved walls and art deco leadlight windows radiate a yesteryear charm and whilst modern comforts may be present, this homes history still invites your personal touch. Spend your days in serenity amidst the secret back garden, enjoy outdoors all year round beneath the covered patio and feel the sand between your toes in just minutes. So with sundowner in hand, kick back, relax and watch the sunset turn amber from your front deck. Will you continue the legacy?
